About us
We're not a dealer. We are liquidating a collection of primarily photos and postcards collected over the last 60 years. When they are gone, our store goes away. The collection is particularly strong in Native American postcards and photos. It also has strengths in local history in the Midwest and in holiday postcards.
Because we're liquidating, our goal is to sell every lot and almost all of them do sell. We open bidding well below what we figure to be the value of a lot, no more than $4.99 even for pieces we expect to bring hundreds of dollars. Over the weeks that we've been doing this, we've built up a group of bidders we can rely on to give us a fair price for the items we offer. And we thank them for their support.
We think one of the reasons that we're successful is that we take the time to put together smaller, focused lots rather than selling by the box, organizing cards and photos by geography, themes, publishers and artists.
