About us

Filter Store is passionate about clothes. We seek out interesting, unusual, well-made garments and provide a provide a platform through which people in Australia and around the world can access them. We specialise in hard to find vintage garments from labels including Ann Demeulemeester + Comme des Garcons + Dries Van Noten + Helmut Lang + Issey Miyake + Jil Sander + Julius + Maison Martin Margiela + Rick Owens + The Viridi-Anne + Yohji Yamamoto + more, in addition to a limited and rotating selection of antique garments, vintage work wear and uniforms, and military surplus. Together with our customers we wish to promote a different approach to dressing, based around the idea of buying fewer pieces but of greater quality.

We are dedicated to telling the story of and filling in the context around the pieces we sell. We wish to engage in dialogue about and provide an outlet through which we and our customers can learn more about, and build a record of, the pieces we stock.
