I swapped out the IC10 with the EPROM I purchased. No change in the “dreaded black box syndrome”! I noticed that IC3, installed by Yamaha is in a plastic holder to allow solder less replacement. Would bad IC3 cause the issue and should it be replaced? I checked battery voltage. It is 3vdc. What do you suggest?
