My baby sister had this barbie growing up.
The dolls came brand new in the box. When I would play barbies with my baby sister, I would always name this one LINDA. She just always looked like a LINDA to me.
The reason a gave a negative on the quality is that when the dolls arrived, all the fingers on the mom's left hand had gotten bent down and broke where they were bent at. Other than that, she is a lovely "LINDA" that I remember playing with, while playing barbies with my baby sister.

my all time favorite preteen movie!!!
i loved this movie when i first seen it back in the early 1980's and i still love it just as much to this day!!!
it has a great soundtrack and it's a great way to look back to those more carefree days of the 1980's.
love it, love it, love it!!!

a sorry interpretation of the manson family murders
1 of 1 found this helpful i bought this movie a couple of days ago, excited to see it. but i was disappointed.
first of all, like 98% of this movie is in "black & white". and the acting was very mellow dramatic (if that is the correct "term" to use here???). it was very slow & alot of dead staring between the actors.
i kind of felt like i was watching an old western movie that was made back in like the 1950's or something.
the one good point to make is that 2 of the actresses did resemble the actual murderesses (susan atkins & patricia krenwinkel) at certain angles. but the "teased" hairdo on the one who was supposed to be "susan atkins" really threw me off??? i don't know cuz i wasn't there but, i don't think that "susan atkins" actually tease combed her hair before going out to the polanski/tate house that night. but i could be wrong cuz i wasn't there. but it's kind of hard to imagine that the manson family (who used to go dumpster diving for food) would have extra money for hairspray & teasing combs or that one would find these items in their supplies guns & knives.
the whole acting just made it seem so "far fetched". i would call this a "campy/cheesy" style movie.
nothing i was expecting or hoping to see.
but this is only my opinion. and everybody has opinions.
you should buy this movie & see what you think.........
i have the old & the new versions of "helter skelter" & thought maybe this would be a good one to add to that collection but i was wrong.
if i had the chance to buy this movie again, would i???? my answer would have to be "no".
i wouldn't recommend this movie, to anyone who wants to get an inside look into these murders or murderers. cuz you will be disappointed as well.
i hope this information is helpful to somebody.
