Screen needed replacement after less than 2 months
1 of 1 found this helpful I had this S5 for less than 2 months when the screen went out. I never dropped the phone or misused it in any way. One evening the screen had a yellow/green tint, and the touch sensitivity was not responding regularly. When I brought it to a repair shop, they informed me that the LCD was going out and that there were no signs of abuse on my part. I had to have the screen replaced, which was nearly $200 dollars.
I contacted the seller, hoping for at least a partial refund to help cover the cost of the repair. I was informed that their distributor wouldn't give them a refund, so I wouldn't be getting one either.
Now 3 months later, the back button hardly reacts to touch, and the buttons on the phone range from being highly-sensitive to not responsive at all.
If I was looking to spend over $400 on a phone I would have done so. I was hoping to find something within my budget, but am now forced to stick with this sub-par product that seems like it will continue to have issues.
