So much better than TV
Jesse Stone played by Tom Selleck is a masterful portrayal of a seemingly simple, but actually quite complex character.
To watch the nine movies in order on DVD is the best way to experience and understand the hidden complexities. Unlike the TV broadcast, the DVD’s have crisp, clear sound and high definition imagery.
In my opinion one of the best screen stories and portrayals possible with Tom Selleck ably supported by a great cast, stunning photography and an almost terse yet spot-on script.
After viewing the movies I’ve read the books upon which they’re based. On this occasion, the movies are so much better!
