Only Apple snobs should pass this one up. Great machine!!!
I had my eye out for a notebook/web book, and have absolutely no regrets with my purchase of the Acer A500. I picked this tablet up for around $200, and don't believe I could have gotten a better tablet for the money. There is no better bang-for-your-buck under $350; the nVidia dual-core processor, HDMI (micro), micro USB, regular USB, and headphone/stereo outputs are unmatched... particularly at half the price of any tablet with similar features. The upgradeable micro SD card memory makes it incredibly inexpensive to upgrade the amount of memory (mine came with the minimum 8 Gigs of internal memory). For about $25 I added a 16 Gig, class 10 micro SD card, and a micro HDMI to HDMI male cable, which I use quite often to watch movies from various Apps, YouTube videos and play video games in HD on any TV with a HDMI connection. Plus, unlike the fruity brand, I can use a Flash player and upgrade memory without spending $100 or buying a whole new unit. My ICONIA was shipped with Android OS version 2.3, which was updated to version 4.0.3 (ICS) about a week thereafter.
I've used the iPad & iPad 2, both very fine tablets, but I wouldn't give up my Acer ICONA for either of them... and I paid less than half the price! Do not hesitate to purchase this tablet! The only aspect which the iPad beats the ICONIA is the weight and thickness, but only marginally. The ICONIA just feels more robust and of better build quality.

Great value for the slicer & those who seek improvement
Great club for the cash. I switched from a Cleveland OS Sport 410, and this puppy spanked my first 300-yard drive, straight down the fairway. The feel and response lets me know if I toe it, heel it, thin or thick, but the sweet spot is like butter. Very nice, but also very forgiving. As an 17-handicapper who plays twice a week, I appreciate the feedback from this club. Do you want to gain skill and improve... or pay 3X as much for a false sense of security? I've done both, and prefer the former.
The only semi-negitive comment I can make is that the regular-flex stock is very flexible and more toward the senior-flex of most other clubs, and I can torque the clubhead open when I toe it (my swing speed is 100-105 mph). Most guys younger than 60 or so should opt for a stiffer-flex shaft on this model.
With Adams' products, you don't put money into Tiger's pocket, just back in yours. Spend it on a lesson or two, your favorite charity, your spouse and green fees (but not always in that order).

Short but sweet
1 of 1 found this helpful These clubs do get the ball up in the air, but don't expect a major (or minor) improvement in distance. However, as most pros will tell you, the game is about distance CONTROL and accuracy, which the slingshots are great. Good forgiveness, excellent control and accuracy.
