Very competitive product that is basically a Louisiana product.
I've been buying and using Café Du Monde coffee and chicory for over 38 years. Since I no linger live in Louisiana, I have to buy it at the most reasonable price I can find on the internet. This is value for commodity. The slightly smaller amount of product in the can makes one begin to think about cost per ounce versus cost per pound. The rich flavor and aroma of this coffee during brewing will make you want to visit the French Quarter in New Orleans. If you haven't been to the Original Café Du Monde French market coffee stand you are missing a treat, especially when you can enjoy begnets with a fresh cup of Cafe Aulet. This happens to be the best value around compared to French Market Coffee or Community Coffee blends. I've tried them all and I keep coming back to Café Du Monde.

Classical themed storyline of 1900's into the 1920's with a comical twist.
1 of 1 found this helpful I saw a few episodes of Upstairs Downstairs many years ago and the series intrigued me due to the early 1900's setting in the British Hierarchy of a Family Upstairs with the head of the family being a member of Parliament who doesn't come from a rich family, and the Downstairs family being the servants who engage in interactions with the upstairs and the downstairs families in such a way that draws one into the feeling of sharing their intricate routines and differences in a serious and comical manner. I don't want to give away the enjoyment of viewing all five Series, however Downstairs you will find the head butler Mr. Hudson and the Matronly cook Mrs. Bridges, and the Parlor Maid Rose, who together hold firm control over their brood of misfits, and the varying antics of the Upstairs family as they bring their own brand of turmoil and chaos in each episode, considering their place in society. Excellent choices of period clothing, terminology and behavioral acting within the cast. This series began the British invasion of daily British behavior in the early 1900's. Well worth watching for the history involved in the storyline as an added bonus.

Value for the price
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent for most mixing. Requires extra effort for heavy dough. Otherwise a bargain. Made Christmas cookies which creates a medium thick dough. Had to hand blend the chocolate chips into the dough to keep from binding the beaters.
