One of the best of the ST series.
I've been a fan of ST since the early 1970's when TOS was in it's early rounds of syndication. I've watched every minute of ST programming ever aired. Overall I think DS9 consistently had some of the best writing and story lines in all of ST. I wasn't too sure I was going to like the premis of a fixed station. I had always felt the boldly going someplace to be very important to the genre but after a couple seasons watching DS9, I realized that boldly going places was not limited to external explorations. DS9 had an abundance of internal explorations as well. Give it a try - I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Decent attempt to package advanced features cheaply.
I don't buy new phones or new cars. There's always too much profit wrapped into the cost of NEW and I won't sign a long term contract with my cell service just to get the latest and most popular hardware. My wife was using a Motorola Razor but it was having battery life problems - she actually had to swap out charged batteries 2 times a day. This was becoming frustrating for her so I started looking for something different. The Sync is similar to the Razor in size and styling - clamshell, internal antenna, thin design. These were all important to her. I did some searching and found web reviews giving great ratings for the Sync for battery life so I decided to give it a try. Used and refurb'd prices are reasonable so I felt that even if we tried it and didn't like it, we could resell and get most of our money back. The Sync came in and we were pleasantly surprised with the number of advanced features. The MP3 player is a nice benefit although the controls to access it are a little complicated...at least for someone from the technologically challenged over-40 generation. The battery life is excellent compared to the Razor. The screen resolution and colors are beautiful and the camera can take higher resolution photos than my older phones. I liked it enough to find another one to replace my own old LG. My biggest complaint so far seems relatively minor: I've stopped using a wrist watch because of the time feature on cell phones. On my older phones almost all of them had the time constantly visable on the outside screen. On the Sync, the outside screen goes dark after 30 seconds, probably as a battery saving measure but it forces me to have to flip open the phone when I want to check the time. Minor, but a little annoying to have to get used to. Accessories are easily found and inexpensive. It's a very good replacement phone for the money. I am pleased with the upgrade I made with this model.
