kick drum

Great mic for recording or sound re-enforcement, what a difference when I record. Brings the thump out the kick even when the eq is flat. I used the older version which I think was a AKG D12 years ago when I worked live shows, it was the only mic we ever used on the bass drum.

Great pickup

Have used these in a tele build and without a doubt they are a great value. The neck pickup which this review covers has a nice tonal range. Using the tone I can get a multitude of styles from jazz to blues to country rock. This is a great pickup and I’m using this in a 77 tele as the original was gone when I bought it years ago. Highly recommend
