Rio Grande Southern Railroad - in detail

This is the third volume of a 12 volume set giving the history and photographic coverage of this fabulous railroad. This railroad ran from Ridgway Colo. to Durango in southwest Colorado through some of the most mountainous terrain in the US. This volume covers a portion of that railroad in great detail with maps, photos, and text. Very interesting read.

This volume deals mainly with the town of Rico and many structures are described. There is a good amount of railroad photos and the mine section is most interesting. This is one volume of a 12 volume series on the Rio Grande Southern railroad.
