Macro Heaven
1 of 1 found this helpful If you have the opportunity to buy one of these 60mm Micro Nikons, you should do so. Even if you are only an occasional close-up shooter, this lens will open up new vistas for you. With a digital camera, this lens is an excellent portrait lens and a fine mild telephoto. But when you see the close up images it can produce, you will be amazed. Sharpness and contrast are excellent and the lens functions beautifully with my D80. If you only have one prime lens, this is the one you will get the most use from. An excellent buy for me and probably for any Nikon DSLR user. If you love photography, this is your lens.

What more could you ask?
An amateur photographer for 50 years, I am a little jaded with respect to camera manufacturers' claims and the hoopla about "the latest" and greatest breakthroughs in equipment. I owned and used a Nikon FTN for over 30 of those years and was always impressed with its performance and reliability. It was bulky, it was heavy and cumbersome... but it took great pictures. The Nikon D90 is a worthy successor to the wonderful Nikon film cameras. The D90 takes excellent pictures. What more needs to be said? The only downside... it could be lighter and more comfortable to carry. Otherwise, it is, I believe, a state of the current art digital SLR in its price range. It is reasonably priced and functions beautifully. The pictures it takes are spectacular. You will never regret buying one when you see the results. Good luck.

Beautiful Figure
This figure is very attractive with very fine features and details. Anyone who is interested in Egyptian art would be pleased to have this.
