Good tool and worked well.with just a bit more engineering could be a great tool.
Pros: It works. I had some very sticky lifters but I had to work to get them out while engine in my truck, long reaches and even climbing into the engine compartment to work on my in-line 6 cylinder Chevy. I also had to remove the wire holding lifter together and the top of the inner workings to get a really good grip.
Cons: It would be good if there was a way to keep the slide hammer from coming down while tying to stab into lifter. On my application I had to unscrew the head and run the top section of the tool through the push rod hole and re-screw the gripping part to the handle part of the tool. I ended up using a very small pair of vice grips the hold the slide hammer up.so I could work one handed in tight spaces. It worked for me but was cumbersome.

Works fast
Penetrating oil with a propelent that freezes the nut and allows the oil to penetrate deeper and faster, Spray on and grab a wrench. Works great.
