The last of the set to complete my collection of vintage Wainwrights. I found most of them in second hand bookshops but eBay has made it easier to fill the gaps in the series economically. I also like being able to see that each book has been owned and used (and hopefully enjoyed) before coming into my possession...

Economical, easy to install and look really stylish.
I have a couple of black floors so this trim looks miles better than the tacky aluminium strips that were installed over the joins by the previous house owner. A little bit of work was involved to cut the strip to length before installing it - you need a hacksaw and a file. I would also recommend applying some tape close to where you are cutting (see YouTube for tips) so that if the saw or file slips you don't damage the black surface to reveal the aluminium underneath. Once that's done the rest of the process was very easy - the black screws supplied worked well and the heads are virtually invisible. My only concern was that over time the surface might get scratched or worn and lose it's lovely matt black finish, but the strips have been in place for a couple of weeks in two regularly-used doorways and so far they look perfect. They are pretty reasonable in price too, so I would happily buy again.

Good product, excellent value
Good product, as described. The metal part originally seemed to catch slightly rather than rotating smoothly but the addition of a small washer solved this problem completely. So I'm pleased with my purchase.
