I love this DVD
4 of 4 found this helpful I really like this DVD set. I mostly use volume II, as it flows better as a workout. It challenges coordination and balance. I am always a little sore the next day because ballet is unlike most of the exercise that I do on a daily basis (running, surfing, and pilates). I really do not like aerobics videos, and this is definately not Richard Simmons. The music is classical and the dancers are beautiful. I can't help but to feel a little bit more graceful for a few days following the workout. I do it once every week or two, just for that reason and for the added stretching that I should have more of in my life. I tried a ballet class (I am a beginner), and I found that I prefer this video better. The workout is harder and more fluid, and I don't feel silly if a miss a step. I can see how if you are a ballet expert that this might not be for you, but if you are interested in ballet or just a different type of workout, I would definately recommend this.
