These are okay
These aren't going to last a long time, but they will work for the kids' reward store that I use them for. They also came with a sticker on every single emory board. When I peeled them off, the sticker peeled part of the emory board off along with it. This only happened to about two or three of them. Not too big a deal considering the price paid.

Only one beef
This is a useful set. My only beef is that it does not come with atom pieces that have two or three holes. If you understand VSEPR theory, this isn't a big deal, but for a student (or if you are teaching them) who is just learning, they may not understand why a piece that represents a halogen has one hole, but a piece to represent oxygen or sulfur has four. In other words, the way the pieces represent bonding and non-bonding electrons is inconsistent if you need to use an atom from Groups 5 or 6. It might be a minor flaw, and a good teacher can use it to help students understand, but it is enough to keep this product from getting 5 stars.

Flimsy plastic
1 of 2 found this helpful These look like they're made of metal, but they're made of flimsy plastic. The threaded end must be removed in order to take out the protective membrane that covers the batteries. It must be removed and replaced very carefully because the threading doesn't seem to engage quite right. These flashlights are bright, for sure and would be awesome if they were made of metal. As is, they are suitable for use in light-duty activities. They are definitely inexpensive. Given the low price and the mediocre quality, I would consider these disposable flashlights.
