A bold and courageous book
I’ve been working on chemical issues for 30 years and am always on a learning curve. I’ve read many insightful and well written books on pesticides. Will Allen’s The War on Bugs is the best. Who knew this history? Who saw all these deceptive adds touting false benefits and safety for the last one hundred and fifty years? Will Allen gathers it all and creatively includes this in The War on Bugs. I rarely buy books these days. I borrow them from my local library. Half way into The War on Bugs, I knew this one was a keeper and I bought it. Will Allen doesn’t mince his words. He tells it like it is. He takes to task the companies and government agencies that are polluting our air, land, water, food, medicine; i.e., us and the environment. He is blunt and bold. So happy to have read this book, I emailed him and told him I would host him for a talk if he were ever in my west coast state. Read this important piece of history and pass it on to others. You may just save some lives.
