The Royal Irish Constabulary, A Short History...
This is an excellent book packed with useful information on researching the Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC).
I had already used information from Jim Herlihy years ago to identify the recipient of an RIC medal at TNA, Kew but with this updated edition, even more information on accessing RIC records online is available and I was able to see relevant Petty Sessions Court Registers and found another 70+ documents concerning my man.
I would recommend this book to anyone researching a Royal Irish Constabulary member.
