5 speed Brompton

Used this to build a 5 speed Brompton.as usual these are quite heavy and the 5 speed needs a little finesse in shifting. Otherwise OK

Hornby need to rethink

The external appearance of this is excellent, but its running ability is poor. The plastic brakes on the bogie foul the wheels and need prising away slightly, the wheel bearings are poor and have high friction and the auto centring coupling is too high in friction. Get a lightweight loco pulling one of these on a minor incline and the thing has too much friction and weight.Very poor from Hornby
