Deeply moving
The story is gripping from the beginning to the end. It is a very moving study of Alzheimer's DIsease and how appalling it is.

An excellent book.
Well written, original and authoritative in the way the author describes von Richthofen's life and the way he was exploited as a national hero. The book explores his battle fatigue and how this, plus a severe head wound, undoubtedly contributed to his death. Highly recommended.

Excellent book.
It captures the lives of those who flew the Corsair and the aircrafts history in a compelling way. Excellently written and well illustrated. Has not been bettered by more recent accounts.
