Excellent iron, definitely genuine, excellent price, quick delivery. Grab a range of spare tips as only comes with 0.5mm conical.
Was a little concerned this may not have been genuine, but yes it is. It is set for 220v and not 240, so possibly meant for the Chinese/Hong Kong market? But has the correct plug and internals check out to be genuine Hakko. Fantastic iron, though with any new iron I would suggest grabbing some more tips as it only comes with a 0.5mm conical. My preference for small PC board work is a 1.2mm chisel and 2.5mm chisel for heavier wires or solder pads. The factory presets for the 5 stored memories are almost useless to me, at 250, 300, 350, 400 and 450 Celsius. I have reprogrammed mine to 325, 350, 375, 400 and 425 and this works great for me. The 325 only barely melts the solder, 350 is perfect for most small wires and solder pads, 375 for soldering small wires onto larger pads, 400 for a little extra oomph for slightly thicker wires and at 425 with the 2.5mm tip easily tins 12 gauge wires and solders them to 5mm square pads. Those preset temps may not be right for everyone but they are easy to change once you download the English user manual from Hakko. Also if you haven't tried the presets they are so easy to use. Once enabled (disabled by default) you simply press the up button once and the current preset number and temp alternate on the screen. Press up again and it moves up to the next and so on (1 to 5 then back to 1 again), each time the screen alternating between preset number and temp. Once on the desired preset press enter and within a few seconds the iron is up to the new temp. So much easier then manually changing the temp. Been soldering up 120 Drone kits - perfect tool for the job from the lightest of tiny motor wires to 12 gauge battery wires.

Great filters
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent filters. Work no probs through the gimbal initialize sequence. For best results with a polarizing filter, fire up the Mavic and hold the filter in front of the lens. Rotate the filter for the desired effect, usually that's the sky at it's darkest, then while supporting the gimbal simply push the filter on. Make a note of the position of the writing on the edge so that next time you do not need the same procedure.

Works great, boat has never run better!
Works perfectly. However, if you are fitting to a 4 stroke 40/60 HP Mercury motor it will need modification to fit around the motor. The slot needs widening at the front to about halfway back and lengthening at the back so it will slide on all the way and clear the trim adjuster. After trying several methods to trim it out (very thick material and a slow job with a file) I ended up using the Dremel with a small drum sander attachment.
