Darling little benches
These are just perfect for my N gauge layout. Their lifelike appearance (if I can use the term 'liflelike' for model benches) will enhance any station platform or picnic area in your N gauge layout or model. Finish is excellent, with no flashings to trim off. The colouring of the wood slats and iron frames is spot on.

A brilliant Digital Camera
10 of 10 found this helpful THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST DIGITAL CAMERAS GOING. Available for £50 to 60 on eBay, it is brilliant value for money.
Perhaps the best feature is that it uses four standard AA batteries, so there is no messing about with recharging, and you get 300 pictures per battery set! What economy!
The picture quality is brilliant, never mind the megapixels count, it's brilliant. Ten times optical zoom is more than you will ever need. Macro setting for moths and other small insects; colour balance better than using film; full control over the built in flash; uses standard SD cards; the special viewfinder for use in direct sun as well as the normal LCD panel, the list is endless.
The only snag is that you really need that special USB lead. Costs another £5 if you don't get the origianl one, but still available on eBay, so no problem there. Standard 52 mm UV filter can be fitted with a converter, £4 on eBay. If you see one of these, get it. You won't regret it.

Rather neat
This foam strip looks like ballast, and is very easy to cut and lay. What was important to me was that it did not include lots and lots of loose grit, to get scattered around my layout. The indentations for the sleepers are really effective, and judicious stretching where necessary results in a finish which was very acceptable for me - but I am not a purist. The instructions say that this product has a limited life (probably deterioration in sunlight) but is not specific as to details. Making it fit points and crossovers is very fiddly, but you can buy preshaped bits for that, if you wish. Most important is that laying track on top of this 'ballast' is quick and easy.
Overall, excellent.
