Close but not the same
First thing I noticed was the difference in weight between the old one and the new, made me question the quality of the new one right away. Next was the difference in thickness of the radiator, new one had fewer coil passes.
Once I actually installed it in my jeep i found two problems...the stabilizer rod that goes into the bracket at the top of the radiator was now 2" too short because the new radiator is thinner and now further away from the firewall and the top rad hose connection is also 2" further away from the thermostat housing making my rad hose 2" too short.
When you ask "Do you recommend it?" all I can say so far is it was priced right.
When you ask "Is it a good value?" well, it's too early to tell.
When you ask "Is it of good quality?" my first impression, because of the lack of coil passes (like the original one has) and the weight of the new radiator I am suspect of the quality but because it hasn't had the test of time I answered "Yes" to your question.
