A Staple for the Reading Teacher
This product can help teachers get formative assessments on reading and comprehension, as well as practice answering open-ended questions. I love it because it includes unit resources with each levelled story for research and discovery. I can also put word counts on the side of a copy and turn it quickly into a fluency and retell check. For teachers having to purchase resources for themselves, this is a very valuable resource that provides multiple functions. It also includes a handy chart for keeping track of which students are missing particular comprehension skills. Great resource for small-group or one-on-one intervention, pr just use at the Primary level. There are three other books that cover reading levels through 12th grade. Also great for teaching ELLs, SPEDs, Dyslexics and Adults with reading problems. A definite "go to" book for the shelf!
