Fabulous look at the Boy General during the Civil War!
This is a well written book that holds your attention all the way through. It gives an honest look at Custer and how he was a huge influence during the Civil War and gives him credit for his many successes. A must read!

Rankin at his best with Rebus
This is Rankin at his best with all the old characters and some new ones. The mystery is complex with many players and the underlying moral challenges even more complex with no easy answers.

Great book on a truly important general!
There is little info on this important cavalryman who shaped the battle of Gettysburg and the cavalry itself for decades to follow. This book gives credit to Buford with interesting detail concerning his professional and personal life. It's a book that was long overdue.
