I'll see if the Fox shock repairman was correct in saying I could use the shock mounted upside down?
0 of 2 found this helpful The Polaris Predator 500 Fox Podium rear shock absorber was supposed to fit on the rear of my 2005 KFX 700 as an upgrade. However this shock will not mount on my KFX with the reservoir in an up position like it does on a Predator. So I spoke with a Fox Podium repairman who claimed I could mount it upside down. I have not rode my KFX 700 since mounting the shock in an upside down manner so I do not know "IF" it really works. So the only way I could mount a Fox Podium rear shock on my quad correctly would be to have a Fox Podium shock with the reservoir to be remotely mounted to the quads frame NOT mounted to the shock like the one I purchased.

If you simply want the BEST buy Twin Power Flow Kit with Cage!!
I run this Twin Air Power Flow Kit w/Cage on my wife's 715 KFX and also on my son's KFX 700 which we ride strictly in the sand dunes. They do excellent fitment wise and the Twin Air Power filter keep the sand out. This filter is the BEST I've used (I have tried 6 different types of filters.) and they are user friendly. Using them does not give you a loss of power.
