Great CPU just runs hot

I came from a Sandy Bridge which ran fairly cool (39-45c maxing out at around 57c) but the ivory bridge uses a thermal paste instead of solder for the heat spreader on the diode and it rockets the temperature up over 80c under load. So far its run pretty solid but my fans are always kicked up to full blast when gaming now and it heats up my office a decent amount.
