Worth the set up time!!
I gave this 5 stars because I live 45 miles from the city and I live in a tiny cottage surrounded by 13 full grown trees, yet on a clear sky day, I can get roughly 18 channels.
I did have to move antenna several times and received different channels depending on which wall (north, south, east west). I also noticed after moving antenna, i needed to let antenna sit for a few hours and then do another channel scan, which would usually give me more channels. I live near lake erie and can get channels across the lake from 200 miles away, yet I cant get NBC which is 45 miles away. Going to purchase additional coaxial cable and try positioning it on other end of house.
I think it would work best in attic, but that's not an option for me.

One of the best movies ever made.
I've seen this movie a million times and never gets old. (Bought this to replace my old dvd.) This movie is about unconditional love of family and friends; true friends sticking together during the good and bad times. One of my top 3 favorite movies.

Better than $100 antenna!
11 of 11 found this helpful I live in a small town, surrounded by trees, quarter of a mile from Lake Erie. I'm 45 miles from Cleveland Ohio stations and about 50 or more from Erie PA stations. I have tried 3 antennas, i tried the Clearstream 2V which retails around $100 new and could only get 6 channels, all PBS. Same thing with a Liger 30 mile range$25 model. Tried this 60 mile ViewTV and i get 11 channels on a cloudy day. I still dont receive any Cleveland stations but I can get ABC, Fox, Laff, Grit, Bounce, Escape and 5 or 6 PBS stations. Note: I live on just over 1/3 of an acre surrounded by 13 full grown maple trees, just in my yard, not counting neighbors trees, so I get better reception placing antenna just above the BASEBOARD. On a sunny day when Lake Erie is calm, I get over 20 channels and unbelievably pull in channels over a hundred miles away, some days I get channels from Detroit Michigan, other days Buffalo NY and even a few from Canada! I have a mounted flatscreen, so I drilled a hole through wall behind tv, and ran the cord through bedroom with antenna facing east. I spent several days trying antenna in every room and along the baseboard was the best reception for me. Ive had this antenna for a year, and if I were to count up the days of poor reception, there was less than 2 weeks where I received less than the 11 channels, due to poor weather, and I live in the snowbelt region, and in an area that regularly sees 40 to 60mph winds, so that's pretty good in my opinion.
