Old School Aquariums.
6 of 6 found this helpful I have been doing aquariums for a hobby for 40 years. Not as many people use a U/G filter. I do. Instead of vacuuming the substrate and doing a partial water change I just siphon from the U/G tube and replace the water. Plen-Plax is a superior product and I have used them for years. I like the over and under plates best. This filter is strong and holds up for years. I guess I am Old School cause I still believe these products work. They make your water changes simple....and no disturbing the gravel!!! Great Product!!!

These are most likely Die-cut. Which makes them dead accurate. Great product all foam is great!

Glass Diffusors
These are great. They have to be cleaned but no more often than other types. They put out a perfect stream of Micro bubbles of Co2. I use DYI systems and still get awesome results. The only drawback has been being gentle when installing tubing onto the end. It is very easy to break the glass. I add a little bit of Vaseline to the end and it helps get the tubing slid over the enlarged area. As for durability in the tank, that is great. I would highly recommend these. The come with a bubble counter and back flow fitting and the diffusor with suction attachment. Make sure you use Co2 resistant tubing or you will be changing it every month. Great product.
