One of the best action/adventure games for Sega Genesis
When I was a child in the mid to late 80's, I used to love going to the arcade for one reason - This game! I remember pumping quarter after quarter into the arcade machine trying desperately to finish the game, and I don't know if I ever did. Years after that, sometime in the 90's, this became available for Sega Genesis, and was never released for any other system. The graphics were phenomenal for the time, but they were nothing compared to the graphics you found in the arcade. As time passed, I slowly forgot about this game, and other Ninja Turtle games followed on various systems. Turtles in Time (TMNT IV) was one of the biggest steps forward in this genre, and slowly but surely, everyone for about about the Hyperstone Heist. In fact, most of my friends that used to play TMNT games on Super Nintendo & Sega Genesis don't have any idea what the Hyperstone Heist is, that is, until I sat them down and powered up my Sega. Upon powering up the Sega, most of my friends knew exactly what the game was...the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game! This game was revolutionary for its time, and of all the Sega games that I have, its now easily one of the most played. The only complaint is that this game is a bit too easy once you are familiar with the combos and control scheme, but that doesn't make it less fun. When I was a child, around age 10, this game was hard! I'll admit, games have become much more difficult and intricate in the last 15 years, but if you are buying this game for a child, it might be a good challenge. Nevertheless, this game is undeniably fun, either as single player or as a multiplayer game. You can't go wrong with this title!
