Interesting mix
This CD is from Cohen's early days, and thus he does not have the sultry deep voice. On the first listening, I didn't even think it was him, and that I had received the wrong CD! Some selections are not up to his current standards in my opinion. After many times playing it, I can skip over the not-so-great selections, where Cohen is just venting, and move on to preferred songs. Still a good CD for your collection if you are a Leonard Cohen fan.

Smoooooth Cohen!
If you want a smooth, rather easy listening collection of songs that showcases Cohen's deep and sultry voice then this is the CD for you. I think it's a jewel and worth every penny.
