I had been debating which smartphone to go with for a while. The two phones that came out on top were the iPhone and the Galaxy S II and after seeing both in person my vote goes to the iPhone.
The larger screen on the Galaxy S II looks nice at first but then you notice the pixels. They are much more noticeable than on the iPhone which has the pixels packed closer together. With the Retina display the smaller 3.5 inch screen seems larger. The industrial design of the iPhone 4 turned the cellphone into an object of desire. This phone is worthy of a spot next to your art collection! The build quality is very nice with the only plastic being the Home button.
The ease of use is another reason I love the iPhone. It can be used by the most advanced computer user or your mom and that is why it has become so popular. The Android OS still has a way to go before it can match the fluidity and cohesiveness of iOS, where all apps feel as though Apple has had a hand in designing them.

The best Technic loader you can buy!
If you are looking to add a large Technic loader to your collection this is the one to get!
First off, if you plan on actually playing with this set you should buy the power function kit. I don't tend to play with my Technic sets that much so cranking a knob to adjust the bucket isn't a big deal for me. Luckily my used 8265 set came with the power functions already included so I can choose which setup I want.
The 8265 is the same scale as the 8043 Excavator(highly recommended as well) and they look great next to each other on the shelf. The 8265 was designed by Markus Kossman of Lego and he did a fantastic job capturing the look of a large quarry-size front wheel loader. Seeing as the model is around 1:24 scale, the tires would be around 75" tall putting it in the same class as the Caterpillar 980.
I paid nearly double the MSRP for this set yet I still felt like I got my monies worth. It is a really fun set to build and once completed it is one of the most realistic looking Technic models ever made.
