Great soft sound.
1 of 1 found this helpful The sound I was looking for. I tried black nylon tapewound on my Fender Jazz Bass and liked them so I purchased the black nylon flatwound for my 5 string and they are comparable in sound and feel. I just put them on a week ago so we will see how they hold up, but I am anticipating they will be long lasting.

Good strings for a particular sound that I will buy again.
Very soft sound, and comfortable on the fingers. First time user and very satisfied. Gives the rich soft sound I was looking for on my Fender Jazz Bass. Priced reasonably compared to other brands.
