Easy to service
I have just fitted the Provent 200 to my new Ford Ranger 3.2 TD. I previously had a 2013 Ranger 3.2 TD to which I fitted an HPD oil catch can. On subsequent research forums it was suggested the HPD one doesn't work very well because of the filtering system used ( mesh screens ). I never got much residue in the HPD thinking I must have a good engine but perhaps it was because it didn't do a very good job. I will reserve judgement on the Provent until it's been in use for a year or so. The one criticism I have of the Provent 200 is the inlet and outlet pipes face the same direction and on my car at least made the installation more difficult. The HPD has a rotating outlet pipe allowing for directional change to suit the vehicles original crankcase vent pipe.
