Ice is still nice!
Now an older book, everything in it is still pertinent to today's climbers. Pictures are great and bring back a lot of memories. Perhaps the most telling point the books makes is that many of the climbs of 30, 40, or more years ago, are still a challenge today. The greatest thing about ice is that it is never the same. Yvon Chouinard is as much a pioneer today as in his hey day. I wonder what he and Tom Frost could have done in the 60's and 70's with the tools they have made possible today?

Great older movie
Kind of a romantic comedy with a semi-serious twist. Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts really play off each other well. Great entertainment without having to think too hard.

Great product!
I've used this stuff as a base for snow a number of times. It's perfect. It required a little patience, multiple layers are better than a single thick one, but the results are realistic, durable, and easily achieved. It didn't believe the adds that said it would be easy. I was wrong. It's also really fun to work with and easy to clean up, and the set up time is long enough that you can tailor and change your original ideas.
