Harmony 1100 wireless extender
I have been an avid fan of logitech remote control and was sadden when they phased it out. It is a good shape and does not get lost down the side of the sofa. Now I have just purchased a TV cabinet where everything fits perfectly, dvd player, Sky box etc etc and as the harmony works on line of sight I have to leave the doors open for it to work. So wanted a work around and the harmony wireless extender was the perfect answer. Note been warned. In the UK the product has been phased out but you can still buy them (new) in the U.S. so promptly purchased the extender and waited for it to arrive. Unfortunately it doesn't work as the frequency used abroad is different to the UK. Contacting logitech, they give a stock answer and don't really care. So now, if I want this to work I either have to purchase another wireless extender for the UK or purchase a new remote from the US so they match. So be warned if you want one make sure they work together. The support from logitech is so poor I will not be using them anymore.
