I wanted to improve drainage for plants in pots etc

This is my second purchase of this item and is spot on for my needs I use this to improve the drainage for plants, flowers, growing in pots, this includes where the pot is the permanent home for the plants, and ‘starting off’ pots, trays and cells. In the past I found that any pots, cells etc that I had outside, suffered if we received a few heavy spring or summer downpours of rain, they would not drain properly with some bulbs rotting if not checked regularly, as they did not like sitting in water, Last year i was doing a 30/70 mix with compost, this year with my first bulbs I have started with nearer to a 50/50 mixture, and will probably continue with this mixture, If you are doing your mixing when outside rather than in a greenhouse, if it is windy you can get a little dusty residue blowing about, I personally don’t see this as a problem or a negative, (I don’t tip the bag when mixing, I trowel my required amount into another container and then mix with the compost), It certainly feels that I used this in a lot of pots last year, sorry I wasn’t counting how many, so purchasing the 100Ltr bag for me was good value

They write like I had hoped they would.

I have used these on a few different items, including cardboard packing boxes, adhesive labels, and on occasion the material/nylon garden rubbish recycling bags that we use locally. No smudging, all nice and clear and readable.

A good size to handle

These 6 cell trays have been ideal for me, for starting off some of my bulbs and little plugs. Quite a large area of my soil takes quite a while to dry out after the winter months, so I have a feeling in the past some bulbs planted in the soil have rotted away as too wet and then of course no flowers or not as many as I had expected. At least this way with the cell trays as I say I can start the planting off at the correct time and then plant in the ground when the conditions are suited and growth has started. In my opinion they are good value and good quality (pretty sturdy compared to some) I can wash and re use another time.
