Just the beginning, never ending heros Journeys for multiple characters.
Well written and a great story. A good version of a Hero's Journey. Just the beginning into 30 books worth of stories with the same characters. But the first book can be stand alone, or the three book series can be stand alone. Go further into the whole series, certain books have politics greater than game of thrones, or action, battles, magic, all well thought out and mapped into a massive complex fantasy, multiworld stories.
