Pocket Battleship
2 of 3 found this helpful Small light powerful charger, had doubts about its ability but it had lots of good revues I gave it a chance for the cost less than £20.00. Other units that looked more like the old ones I used to use were £50.00, I am glad I did.
Easy to set and use, pulse facility an extra bonus. It brought my old discharged 100 amp van battery to 1 amp input within 5 hrs, fitted it to my little used van and started first try, still starts after 2 weeks standing.
Excellent value would definitely recommend.

SHAME ABOUT THE MOUNTS!
Excellent scope, powerful for 30yd shooting range and still able to see hits in the black of the target. This was an upgrade from a cheap 4-9-40 SMK that would not hold its zero.
This 4-16 50 is the lower end of the Nikko Stirling range @ £63.o but still bright and clear optics, I find it has allowed me to group my shots, [Impossible with the SMK ] now shooting is a pleasure again.
For the money it is good value and quality with a top name in expertise to back it up, the down side are the mounts ! Good quality in as well made ok, but they are not high enough to allow the 50 optic end to clear the barrel / receiver on my standard .22 break barrel springer, or I would think any standard air rifle. I swapped them with a pair purchased from the gun range @ £12. + that are 1/2" higher and all is now sorted. [ The standard mounts supplied would be good on a scope with a 30 or 40 optic, the 50 wont allow the mounts to connect with the gun rail ] hence the 4* and not the 5 the scope deserves as it was purchased as a working package. Great scope let down by detail of the mounts. Thank you Russell

Good enough
Using on a Hatsan 66s .22 cal springer, gun wont group in fact when first used could only be described as vicious in its recoil, probably dieseling from stored grease in the gun, a good clean may sort it, or may need tuning kit ! The scope is good enough for 20yds or so but to be fair in rifle scope land it was a cheap get you by until you can afford or justify a more expensive scope. [ the gun only cost £110.00 new, would you fit a £140.00 scope to get better sight picture ? ] The mounts supplied are cheap single screw base and quickly came loose due to vibration from said violent recoil chattering the thread away, like I said a cheap mount, threw them and bought a better mount 1/3 the cost of the scope !! Now about to purchase a more expensive gun, but scopes jump in price from cheapo to hundreds +, To sum up if you have the money a better scope is desirable, if not justified fitted on a cheap budget gun, it is good enough.
