Needs volume and battery.
Have to disassemble & change/charge batteries. You've got to be kidding. Hardly any volume at all. I'll worry about my own hearing and what volume level I need, you just put an adjustment button I'll turn it down if I need to. I may actually want to hear this thing in a noisy environment.

Compact nice feel
I like the size and feel of it. Good for working on a ladder. An eyelet for a lanyard might be a nice addition. Haven't had a chance to really put it to work yet. Usually skeptical about electronic/automatic kind of stuff; nice when new, but usually don't last very long. We'll see, time will tell. I like the position of the light; that's a definite improvement. Fuel gauge; hey I like that. But all the other lights; you're takin' my battery down dude.
