Glad I got it.

As usual this book is up to Squadron/Signal's usual standards. Precise but easy to understand history and details of subject matter. Good selection and range of photos also.

good and complete

Well worth it (like his whole series). Precise but readable text, giving all imformation needed without excess stuff. Good selection of pictures. Only quibble is drawings of layout and storage are too small and too hard to read and sometimes see what the items actually are.

French Battleships 1922-1956

Good, complete study and precise information, but not so precise that you get bogged down in details. Up to the high standard of their other books on the French destroyers and the cruisers. Recommend it.
