good enough
obviously these are older generation MBs, but for what they are, when set up and taken care of properly, they can run for a decade. just be sure when buying anything like this that you also clean and reset the VGA/NB, as most of these boards, when refurbished, come with the video heatsink(or NB heatsink) already set; often they are not replaced and the original heat dissipating pad is in place and crumbling. flash the BIOS, max the RAM, and you have a good workhorse of a machine for a user that needs only XP, internet capability and word processing.
worth noting also that as the price is cheap, replacing it will also eliminate any potential problems with the PCI, USB or RAM slots that older board from these units get...usually due to excess heat from user maintenance neglect. rarely have i found, once the MB is replaced, that any problems with the speakers, CPU fan or ports persist; meaning the hardware is usually still good its just the controllers that are failing.

overall solid
great speaker compared to the 15-30 ones you usually find at this wattage, but as ususal for all these companies, no wattage is indicated so comparison to other speakers is difficult and expensive trial/error. quality is good though.

Good enough for the money
As all the HP/Compaq models from 2006 and up with this style MB seems to burn out the VGA, I suppose the best thing I can say is that at least the replacements have become cheap enough. Used copper to shim it, working good so far.
