Compact Package, Great performance and Affordable
The HTC One V seems to hide in the shadows behind it's bigger brothers: the HTC One S and flagship HTC One X (and soon the X+). It doesn't have the same power as these phones but it does pack a punch! Pros- 1. Price: At 150 GBP unlocked (ebay auction, almost new) this phone was a steal compared to other 2. Screen and GPU: Large viewing angles and the Adreno 205 GPU make handling video a breeze and all 3D games come out with decent frame rates. 2. Camera: Fast with Great picture quality. 3. Upgradable Storage: Micro SD storage, not included on more expensive phones. 4.Build Quality and Design: If you can put up with the protruding chin (housing the battery) the 'unibody' aluminium chassis is a pleasure to use and can take a few knocks. 5. Beats Audio: Not just a DSP setting. Adds vibrancy to every song or media stream (No idea what algorithm they're using though!) 6. Small: It fits in every pocket unlike its 4.7 inch screen monster brothers. 7. Open Source Support: HTC provides boot loader unlock software and instructions on their webside and there is tons of support for this phone from XDA developers and the like. Many custom ROMs, including a Jelly Bean (Andoid 4.1) port. WARNING: Rooting will void warranty! Cons: 1. Non-Removable battery: Not a huge issue because many companies (like BuzzBox, Uk) will replace this for you when the time comes. 2. Average Battery: Juice defender app is a must if you are more than a light/medium user. I bough the HTC One V to upgrade from the HTC Desire C. If you look hard enough, you'll find these handsets advertised at the same price. However, with a faster processor dedicated graphics chip, great camera (with flash), gorgeous screen there is simply no contest: HTC One V is a handsome, refined product which hits every nail on the head (unlike the undesirable Desire C). Highly recommended if you are looking for a high/mid range smart phone but don't want to break the bank or cram you pocket.

Oculus Quest 64GB Stand Alone VR Headset - Black
03 September 2020
Best standalone VR for 2020
The new software updates have improved this (already) extremely high quality product. Best entry point into VR. Graphics aren't the same as PC but who cares. The immersion is what it's all about. (P.s. I recommend the M AMUR comfort strap for long duration playing) Go get one!

KNOG LIGHT FROG STROBE FRONT LIGHT
18 October 2017
Great small discreet bike light (if you're lucky!)
I have bought these Knog Frog lights for years now. Knog seems to have very poor manufacturing consistency with this range. One Frog I recently bought drained the battery over a week of very light use with the light going dim (twice!) However, the next one I bought seems to work as it should. If you can deal with the annoyance of having to replace a dud I'd go for it. The next one that you order might be a good one.
