Did the job
Put this around the baffles and used the wire to secure it
So far so good.

Ok way to remove filter.
This is the best way I have found to change the oil filter on my 2004 Heritage. I still spill some oil, but not as much. Follow the directions and be patient for best results. I recommend punching an additional hole in the filter to aid in draining after rotating a half turn. Still a bit messy, but not bad.
