A nice pictorial reference for the baseball junkie.
This book, one in a series of three, is a good visual reference for the baseball fan who would like to see every player, ballpark, umpire, club official, writer, uniform, broadcaster, etc., etc., etc. from the decade of the 1950's. The other books that detail the 30's and 00's are very similar and well worth having also. The books each break down every team and season individually. If you can get them at a good price, by all means get them.

Beatles and Apple- not theirs, but Jobs.
My first iPod. It has a crazy amount of storage, is easy to operate and since The Beatles and Apple can't seem to come to terms on a "loaded" iPod ala' U2, the engraved logo and silhouette will do for now. Just add music!
