A joyful playful twist on Christmas carols
Last Christmas, I heard the Hampton Quartet's Mozart interpretation of 'Frosty the Snowman' on the radio. I purchased the CD, "What if Mozart wrote "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and loved it all.
I wanted more, so purchased "What if Mozart wrote I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus", and it is equally enjoyable. I like Christmas music, but sometimes want the tune. I already know the words. It is humorous when the quartet puts its own playful spin on the melodies. Just what I needed this year!
