A Classic Use of Television and Imagination
1 of 1 found this helpful This English series is a brilliant blend of writing, acting and directing. The story goes from the imaginings of a writer to the composition of his novel to the writer's past and present, all interwoven with excellent selections of thirties music. I've loved this classic since it first aired here in the U.S. many years ago.
