    An oldie, but goodie!
What I like about the Garmin 2610 is the bright screen for reading in bright daylight, the volume of the routing announcements, it's ease of use, and that it is one of the best GPS's to use on a motorcycle. These units are coveted by many long distance endurance riders for their ruggedness, ease of use, and dependability. Put a 2G memory card in it, and you can put all of the USA and Canada's maps into the unit and never have to swap out map sets again. The only real bad drawback in my opinion is that it can no longer have it's maps updated. It cannot use the NT or newer map cd's/DVD's from Garmin. It is no longer a supported GPS unit. Also, you must take very good care of the touch screen. It will delaminate at some point, maybe not this year or next, but unless handled very carefully, it will delaminate.
