An excellent introduction to the science and techniques of Archaeology/
Having been a devotee of the "Time Team" series for a number of years, one of my desires was to learn about the science underlying Archaeology.
Over the past 3 years I have done a number of MOOC courses on Anthropology, Sociology and various eras of history. There had, however, been no courses offered on Archaeology. Following some extensive research on the internet, I was delighted to find the companion site to "Archaeology:An Introduction" by Greene and Moore.
A search on Ebay located the book, the description confirmed my expectations of the book and I therefor decided to purchase.
For anyone interested in the techniques used by professional Archaeologists,then this is a must read. If, however, your interest is merely reading about various Archaeology discoveries, then this is not for you.
Bottom line, so far as I am concerned,this book has exceeded my expectations, particularly when used in conjunction with the companion website.

Great features and very easy to follow
Excellent book. I would highly recommend for both beginners and those who are more advanced
