Stokes Guide to Nature
If you would like to learn more about the winter environment, this is the book to have. The Stokes guides are well researched and written and easy to read. The graphics are easy to use as a reference and well done. I have all of the Series done by Stokes and they are an excellent addition to a nature lovers library.

This Time Together by Carol Burnett
The book is a good collection of stories about Carol Burnett's life and some of the people who she met and worked with. She has some good stories about the famous "went with the wind" dress that is now in the Smithsonian. She is also very frank about some of the tough moments in her life as the loss of her daughter to cancer. A good read that you will find yourself picking up and rereading again and again.

a wonderful series
This series is a really good read, the characters are interesting and Ms. Harris has done an excellent job of writing. You can get lost in reading the books and you seem to be right in the story.
